Xerosun wish to thank all those great Avenged Sevenfold fans for making us feel so welcome at their gig on Monday the 8th of November in Dublin's Olympia Theatre. Xerosun are happy to announce we will be supporting the ever awesome Avenged Sevenfold on the Dublin leg of their tour for their new album, Nightmare on Monday 8th of November.
Both Fiachra and Gareth have been named as the featured guitarists on Zon Brookes' Blogozon site for this week. This weekly guitar and bass blog site, explains the use of the CAGED guitar system, which uses the five basic chord shapes (C, A, G, E and D in barre form) to create a fretboard navigation system.
In issue 64, Black Velvet Magazine reviewed Xerosun's debut album "Absence Of Light" and awarded the debut album by the Dublin 4-piece, the maximum score of 5 out of 5.
Xerosun's Fiachra Kelly and Gareth Jeffs have signed an endorsement with Polish hand made guitar manufacturer Mayones. Both members have been long-time fans of the guitars and were delighted with the endorsement deal from the guitar manufacturer. Xerosun's debut album "Absence Of Light" was recorded using their custom Mayones 7-strings guitars.
Custom double bass pedal manufacturer OFF-SET have signed Xerosun stick-man Darrin Bell with an endorsement deal for their incredible, hand crafted double bass pedal system.
Xerosun are delighted to announce that Darrin Bell has signed an endorsement deal with Turkish Cymbal Manufacturer, Murat Diril. The renowned craftsman himself created custom hand-made cymbals for Darrin from their Black Sea Series.
Xerosun will be on the DCUFM.com Metal Module with Jack "get to the choppa!" O'Donovan on Monday 26th of April. It's the last show this series and it may be some time before Xerosun are back on the metal module, so please, if you get a chance, tune in. It's a great show, with top music and we will be giving away a few copies of our Absence Of Light Album free on the air!
Xerosun, Eyesclosed and Spitting Bones will take the stage of The Pint on the 8th of May for the Summer Shout event that should not be missed! The venue, the Pint is a new venue located on Eden Quay and offers some great sound, a great pint and is close to both bus and taxi ranks.
Xeroun will be playing tonight in Fibber Magees, at the top of O'Connell street with Visitor Q and Mcgalligog. Our debut album "Absence Of Light" will be available as a limited edition digipak and T-shirts will also be on sale, door are 8pm admission is 5 euro. Hope to see you there, its going to be a ROCKING night!!

Xerosun make a return to the gigging circuit having taken time out for studio work.
